Since July of 2006, I have become much more of a goal driven person. I tend to set goals for each moment of my life and try my best to accomplish them. As I look back over the last 4 1/2 years, I realize that many of my goals have been accomplished. I know that it is only by the grace of God that my goals have become reality, but I also know that I am more focused on what is important. This last weekend at TLC (Teen Leadership Conference, a gathering of 6 churches and our teen leaders in the Searcy area) I realized that one of my greatest goals was well on its way toward being accomplished. Being the best Daddy and family man I can be. God has blessed me with many wonderful things in my life, but there are none that I treasure more than being a husband and dad. I know that the responsibilities are great, but I also know that the rewards are even greater. That is why I want to be the best husband and dad I can be. I realized again this weekend how much my story, that God is writing, focuses around my little family. I know that God has given me the opportunity to impact many people, but I also realize that I will have no greater impact on anyone else more than my family. Great dads seem to be few and far between, and many people in this world have not had the blessing of a great godly daddy, I am making it a goal of mine that this will not be the case for my family and children. I continue to make it a vow of mine to the best man of God I can be, and goal is the same for my role as a husband and dad.
Check out this video, I can see myself doing the same things in the years to come! :)
