This may be breaking news for many of you, but this past weekend our family announced to our extened family (the Maple Hill church of Christ) that we would be leaving our work here and moving to Searcy, Arkansas. We have accepted an opportunity to work for the College Church of Christ as one of their Youth Ministers. I will be focusing specifically on the 7th-9th grades and I am really excited about this opportunity.
Sunday was a hard day for us. We have been so blessed to make so many great and lasting relationships here at Maple Hill and in Lebanon, but we had no clue how difficult it would be to hear the actual words, "Nick, Amanda, and Lily will be moving at the end of the summer." This is something that we have spent much time in prayer over, but the feeling we had once the announcement was made is cannot be described!
Here is a letter that I wrote to our Youth Group and I read it Sunday morning in class. Needless to say it was hard to get through.... Please share with me what you think!

It was a difficult day. The letter you shared in class with us on Sunday was well said. You could not have expressed yourself better or with any more love for the teens. I appreciate the work you have done and will miss working with you and your family.
