When Faith Becomes Sight....

One day our faith will be sight. One day all the things that have believed in we will get to see face to face. Jesus, we will look him in the eye. We will see his nail scarred hands and feet. We will see the joy and satisfaction on his face to know that we have made it to heaven. One day our faith will be sight!

I am not so sure I had ever thought about it this way until I heard someone say it. The past couple of days have been hard for our community as we have said good bye to a lady who has fought so hard the disease of cancer. But, it never made more sense to me until I heard that comment... "Now her faith has become sight." She is with her Lord and Savior, she is seeing Jesus face to face. She knows that cancer can no longer hinder her life. Her faith has been strong. Perfect, no one is. But, she has kept the faith and now it has become sight!

Each day that goes by I find myself seeing something different than I have before, today is no different. I have a bigger view of my faith now....because I long for it to become SIGHT!!!

"What do you want me to do for you? Lord, I want to see, he replied.
Jesus said to him, receive your sight, your faith has healed you. Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God." Luke 18:41-43
